This stunning peony flower brides bouquet is made up of  our earliest blooming bright pink peonies.  This is a very old peony variety that my husbands elderly friend planted around 1960.  We were lucky to  buy some of his roots several years ago.  The exact name of the peony is unknown to us but believe it may be Big Ben.    This lovely floral bouquet also contains a small yellow berry type flower and is tied with a bright midnight blue satin ribbon to match the bridesmaids dresses.  The church is St. Catherines of Genoa in Boston.

The brides sister carries a bridesmaid bouquet of light and medium pink peonies with asparagus fern.  The bridesmaid bouquet is tied with a bright pink satin ribbon to match her shoes.

Above is a photo of the pink peonies that Tiffany posted to her blog a day after receiving the peonies.   The peony flowers take a couple of days in water to open.
